Clara is cute to look at, but when she has the right light cones, she has a lot of deadly power.
At the start of Honkai: Star Rail, many players noticed that Clara and Klee from Genshin Impact were very similar, right down to their very powerful and damaging skills. Also, people often compared Clara to the main character, even though their kits were different, because she had the same frequency, path, and element as the first form of Trailblazer. Even though Clara was thought to be weaker than other 5-star characters at first, her fame has grown as players have leveled up and improved their characters. This is because she can do more damage than many other DPS characters.
Clara’s Counter follow-up skill lets her do especially well when she is on the right teams. With Svarog by her side, Clara not only does more damage, but she also becomes more durable and does even more damage when she takes damage. Clara is a great character to use in different parts of Honkai: Star Rail because players have access to great light cone options for her, including free-to-play choices.
The Moles Welcome You

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 476
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 264
- Base HP (LVL 80): 1058
- Effect : The user gets one stack of Mischievous for every Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate they use. The wearer’s ATK goes up by 12%/16%/18%/20%/24% for each stack.
The Moles Welcome You is a great 4-star light cone that most Destruction-path characters can use because it gradually adds and scales with ATK. But it’s important to remember that the language on the light cone is a bit misleading, since it won’t stack forever. It can instead be stacked up to three times, with each stack coming from either normal ATK, Skill, or Ultimate. So, players should make sure to use all of these skills at least once as soon as possible to get the most stacks and the biggest ATK boost, even without any more superimposition levels.
Nowhere to Run

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 529
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 264
- Base HP (LVL 80): 952
- Effect : Gives the user 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% more ATK. When the person wearing it beats an enemy, their HP is restored by 12%/15%/18%/21%/24% of their ATK.
Nowhere to Run not only makes the wearer’s move stronger, but it also helps them defend themselves by restoring their HP. Because it has a high ATK modifier compared to other 4-star Destruction light cones, it is a great light cone for farming easier material. But it’s important to keep in mind that the condition for the secondary affect makes it less useful than many of Clara’s other light cone choices. Not only does she have to be the one to give the final blow, but it doesn’t help much when she’s fighting a boss alone and there are no weaker enemies around. Another bad thing about this light cone is that it can only be bought with Nameless Glory, which means that F2P players can’t use it. Also, players who want to choose an option from Nameless Glory might want to choose another option first, like one for the Harmony or Erudition paths, before thinking about this one.
A Secret Vow

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 476
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 264
- Base HP (LVL 80): 1058
- Effect : The damage the user does goes up by 20%/25%/30%/35%/40%. The person wearing it also does 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% more damage to enemies with more HP than them.
A Secret Vow is the best 4-star light cone choice for Clara because it increases DMG and has a secondary effect that can often double the damage done. Clara does better when she takes damage, especially early in a fight when her stronger opponents haven’t taken much damage yet. Players can also think about pairing Clara with characters like March 7th to make this light cone more useful. Not only will shielding Clara make it more likely that she will be attacked, but it will also let her take less damage in later turns if players want to keep her HP low, making this light cone useful for longer in the fight.
On the Fall of an Aeon

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 582
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 396
- Base HP (LVL 80): 1164
- Effect : The wearer’s ATK will go up by 8%/10%/12%/14%/16% every time they attack in this fight, up to 4 times. When the wearer uses Weakness Break on an enemy, the wearer’s DMG goes up by 12%, 15%, 18%, 21%, or 24% for 2 turns.
Drive Mad players who want a free-to-play choice can use the “On the Fall of an Aeon” 5-star light cone, which they can get by completing the “Simulated Universe” and collecting enough “Herta Bonds.” This also makes it easy for players to quickly max out the overlap of this light cone, which gives Clara’s ATK a big and permanent boost. Clara also does more damage when she uses up an enemy’s toughness meter. So, this light cone is especially useful against hard-to-kill monsters that are weak to physical damage.
Something Irreplaceable

- Base ATK (LVL 80): 582
- Base DEF (LVL 80): 396
- Base HP (LVL 80): 1164
- Effect : The wearer’s ATK is increased by 20%/25%/30%/35%/40%. When the wearer kills an enemy or gets hit, their HP is instantly restored by 6%/7.5%/9%/10.5%/12% of their ATK. Also, until the end of the wearer’s next turn, their DMG goes up by 20%/25%/30%/35%/40%. This action can only happen once per turn and cannot be stacked.
Something Irreplaceable, which features Clara in its artwork and is her signature light cone, is the best light cone for her to use because it works well with her other items, at least until new limited-time event light cones are made available. Clara not only gets a permanent boost to her ATK, but she also gets an easy-to-use HP heal and an increase in damage every turn when she is hit or when she beats an enemy. As long as the party doesn’t have a character with a strong taunt ability, like Fire Trailblazer, Clara can almost always use this light cone to her advantage.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available for Android, iOS, and PC. A version for the PlayStation is in the works.
