Choosing the best utility in Starship Troopers: Extermination can be useful during fight, and these are the finest options.
In Starship Troopers: Extermination, utilities are a vital part of a trooper’s armory. It can mean the difference between mission success and death on the battlefield. Many players have expressed regret about not selecting any utilities upon going into battle, while others have complained about selecting the incorrect utility for a mission.
There are several utilities available to players in this early access edition on Steam, and more utilities are in development and will be introduced to the game in the near future. Some utilities in the game are all-purpose, appropriate for all trooper classes and tasks, while others are tailored to specific trooper classes and missions.
Scan Beacon
The Scan Beacon allows gamers to effortlessly defeat hordes of Arachnid soldiers. The beacon scans for and identifies bugs that trigger the proximity sensors by encroaching on the beacon’s scan radius. Furthermore, any bug that has been scanned and identified receives additional damage when players shot at it.
This utility item assists players in identifying enemy bugs lurking in their direct and peripheral eyesight. It minimizes the likelihood of players being flooded by unsuspected adversaries, boosting the probability of these valiant soldiers surviving. It works well in defense missions when players must safeguard valuable assets such as refineries or bases.
Shock Beacon
The Shock Beacon stuns bugs that instantly stun opposing bugs; it is also an excellent tool that soldiers can utilize in Flappy Bird defense assignments. It is an electric barrier that generates a defensive electric barrier in conjunction with other Shock Beacons nearby.
By planting the beacons within 10 meters of each other, players can create an electric barrier around their base or refinery. Although these beacons can instantaneously stun these bugs, the impact is only temporary, and the bugs will eventually break through. However, this gives the troops plenty of time to eliminate the enemies while they are dazed.
Heal Beacon
The Heal Beacon is a support beacon that gradually heals any troopers within its radius of influence. This beacon has a range of 15 meters and heals allies every 10 seconds. This gives players an advantage, allowing them to continue battling even after being injured by opponent assaults.
Players can place beacons on the battlefield to allow hunter-class assault teams to recover while attacking their opponents. It is an excellent defensive utility that may also be put near bastions so that they do not have to travel far from their stations to recuperate.
First Aid Stim
The First Aid Stim is an instant potent mixture of pain relievers and blood clotters that helps injured players to continue fighting and completing missions. This utility has a stack limit of 3 and gives players 30 Health when used on themselves or other members of their team.
Players can utilize the First Aid Stim by left-clicking to heal themselves and right-clicking to heal injured troopers or rapidly revive them. This utility is useful for hunter-class operatives since it allows them to heal themselves and their friends while they are in the middle of the battle.
Thermo Charge
The thermo charge is a collection of powerful explosives that players can manually activate using a remote control. It has a blast radius of 6 meters and each stack of thermos charge contains four explosives. Players can activate this explosive by glancing at the charge and pressing the Alt key.
This utility item can be used by players to protect their bases and destroy a large number of hostile bugs. Players can instantaneously kill bugs attacking the protective perimeter of the base by deploying the Thermo Charge along that perimeter.
Medical Station
This utility is a portable medical gadget that resembles an Ammo Fabricator and can cure troops in the field. It includes six heal packets that each provide 90 Health. By engaging with the Medical Station, players can use the heal packets.
This support utility boosts player survival and shifts the battle’s balance in favor of the vanguard. The Medical Station should be placed behind defensive lines to allow injured players to fall back and recover. It also lessens the likelihood of Arachnids damaging this function.
Proximity Bug Mine
The Proximity Bug Mine is a strong explosive that explodes when an enemy bug enters its blast radius. It has an 8-meter explosion radius and requires only two seconds to arm before detonating. To destroy opposing bugs, these mines can be put around the base or on the battlefield.
It is primarily utilized as defensive assistance, although it can also be deployed as part of a preemptive offensive strategy. It is a particularly valuable utility since it destroys unsuspecting bugs before they can strike players or defense bases.
Ammo Fabricators
The Ammo Fabricator is a portable gadget that resupplies ammo to players in the field. This utility may only equip players with weapons; it cannot equip soldiers with grenades, utilities, or perks. Players can put this utility in the field or near the Bastions to quickly rearm without leaving their stations.
It also gives additional safety for players when they face off against enemy bugs, particularly Gunners while restocking. According to several gamers, it is the most important utility required by all vanguard classes in Starship Troopers: Extermination.
Currently, Starship Troopers: Extermination is only available on PC.
