It administers an exam named AILET to provide admission to various law programmes.
The CLAT exam is conducted in two formats one is the CLAT UG exam and the other one is the CLAT PG exam. As the names suggest, the CLAT UG exam offers admission to undergraduate courses in law, and similarly, the CLAT PG exam is meant for postgraduate law courses. Both exams are of 120 minutes (2 hours). However, the exam pattern for the two exams is distinct. The Consortium released the necessary details about both exams on its official website.
